Drug Free Partnership

Collectively striving to achieve a Drug Free Community

About US

Our Mission

To bring together individuals, organizations, and agencies both public and private, who seek to provide optimal resources for the combating of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug abuse in LaPorte County, which includes specific focus on binge drinking, prescription drug abuse, marijuana usage, and youth prevention efforts and the promotion of positive mental health.

About US

Our Vision

In effort to create a healthy and drug free La Porte County, our vision is to create a multi-sector community infrastructure to reduce recidivism and address access to mental health and/or substance use services by proactive engagement of community stakeholders inclusive of youth and those with lived experience or in recovery.

Creating Lasting Support

The Laporte County Drug Free Partnership was established in 1989 under the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute’s Governors Commission. We believe lasting change happens through collaboration across prevention, treatment, justice, education, healthcare, government, and community-based organizations—alongside youth voices and people with lived experience or in recovery.
